Starting situation

An existing workshop should be extended and made a cellar under. The production takes place in the ground floor with dynamic machine loads and with an stapler on the cellar ceiling. The live load on the ceiling is 10kN/m². The cellar is located in confined groundwater. In the cellar there are the toilets, the cafeteria, the wash rooms and the heating center.

What we did

For the steel shed hall, which is giving it's load to the cellar, the statical calculation was done. The verifications for the intermediate ceiling, the girders and columns were led for the stapler and the dynamical machine loads from the workshop considering fatigue. The crack widths of the bottom plate and the side walls of the cellar were limited to ensure waterproof concrete. For the concrete parts we drew the armouring plans.
