The inspection-hall has the dimensions 24,6m·30,6m and a roof pitch of 10°. It consists of frames, house ends, roof and wall bracings, a portal in a side wall, a porch as well as brick-work walls. The ceiling above the office and the common rooms was made of timber beams. In the base-plate a pit for truck maintenance was integrated.
Apart from the verification of the load-carrying capacity for the office and the common rooms the calculation for thermal protection was checked. For the pit the bending load was calculated due to a truck standing at the edge of pit and it was shown that the crack widths in the concrete remain in the harmless range. The columns of the hall were calculated to resist impact loads according to truck collision considering DIN 1055.
