A disaster at the gasholder for biogas with 50003 volume and an internal pressure below the piston of 30mbar resulted in tearing off and breaking the central telescopic guiding pipes and damaged the piston.
Apart from an evaluation of already existing statements and calculations we wrote an expertise describing the cause of the disaster and the process of the damage. Therefore we also had to consider the operation-log of the owner of the gasholder.
